Making the Best out of Anger

It is okay to get angry, even God gets angry and since we are made in His image, we should not be surprised. There are so many events that trigger these monstrous feelings in us.

Ephesians 4:26 " 'In your anger do not sin', Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry."

So, what is important is that you pause, and evaluate your reaction. That way, you will save your relationship a lot of potential damage. Choose wisely then, to make the best out of your anger.

When angry;

  • Recognize your wound
  • Let God's love fill your heart(through prayer and intention)
  • Do not be overcome by evil
  • Overcome evil with good(very intentionally)

Anger is actually a blessing in disguise, when handled properly. It can motivate us to do things better, to grow stronger, and to know what how better to go about things in future.

 Proverbs 29:11
A fool always loses his temper, But a wise man holds it back.
